Privacy Policy

Effective Date: August 14, 2026 · Last Reviewed: August 14, 2026 · Version 1.0

1Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how BlessedDay Software ("BlessedDay," "we," "us," or "our"), operator of the BlessedBill platform, collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use our website (blesseddaysoftware.com) or the BlessedBill application. By using our services, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information in connection with providing BlessedBill's billing and client management services:

  • Account information: name, email address, business information, and login credentials for users of BlessedBill (both administrators and invited clients).
  • Financial and transaction data: when you connect a bank account through Plaid, we receive transaction and account information necessary to reconcile payments and generate invoices. When you make or receive payments through Stripe, we receive payment-related information necessary to process and record those transactions.
  • Communications and project data: messages, project updates, and related content exchanged through the BlessedBill client portal.
  • Usage data: basic information about how the website and application are used, which may be collected through standard web analytics and marketing tools (e.g., MailerLite).

3How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect solely to operate and improve BlessedBill, specifically to:

  • Match incoming payments to the correct client accounts and generate accurate invoices
  • Provide account access, the client project portal, and related communications features
  • Process payments through Stripe
  • Respond to support requests and maintain the security of our platform
  • Communicate with users about their account or our services (e.g., via email)

We do not sell your personal or financial information, and we do not use data obtained through Plaid or Stripe for any purpose beyond providing and improving BlessedBill's billing and account management functionality.

4How We Share Information

We share information only as necessary to operate BlessedBill, with the following categories of service providers:

  • Base44 — our application hosting and development platform, which stores and processes application data on our behalf.
  • Plaid — used to securely connect to bank accounts and retrieve transaction data, in accordance with Plaid's own privacy and data use policies.
  • Stripe — used to process payments, in accordance with Stripe's own privacy and data use policies.
  • MailerLite — used for email communications and marketing, where applicable.

We do not share your information with any other third party except as required by law, to protect our legal rights, or with your explicit consent.

5Data Storage and Security

BlessedBill is built and hosted on Base44, which encrypts all stored application data. We limit access to production systems and customer data to authorized personnel only, use unique credentials for administrative access, and apply industry-standard practices such as TLS encryption for data in transit. Further detail on our internal security practices is available in our Information Security Policy and Access Control Policy, available upon request.

No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and while we take reasonable steps to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6Data Retention and Deletion

We retain account, transaction, and communication data for as long as your account remains active, or as needed to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

You may request deletion of your personal data by contacting us at support@blesseddaysoftware.com. Upon a valid request, we will delete or anonymize your data within a reasonable timeframe, except where we are required to retain certain information for legal, accounting, or security purposes.

7Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including the right to access, correct, or delete the information we hold about you, and the right to withdraw consent for data collection where applicable. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@blesseddaysoftware.com.

You may also disconnect a linked bank account at any time; doing so will stop new transaction data from being retrieved via Plaid, though previously retrieved data may be retained as described in Section 6.

8Children's Privacy

BlessedBill is a business software platform and is not directed to, or intended for use by, individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal or operational reasons. We will post the updated policy on our website with a revised effective date.
